The Housing Society has continued to take the lead in nurturing young talents to make sustainable development of housing in Hong Kong. With the support from the Society through the award of scholarships and bursaries, students are able to enhance their knowledge and pursue their careers in the housing-related disciplines in the past years to the fullest extent. On 3 February, 2018, a total of 6 HKUST students from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering attended the Society’s presentation ceremony held in the World Trade Centre Club. Four students were awarded scholarships and two students were awarded bursaries. Mr Marco Wu, Chairman of the Hong Kong Housing Society, complimented the students for their pursuit of excellence in academic knowledge and their persistance to develop their career in the housing-related disciplines.
