The Award Presentation Ceremony of Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award Scheme was successfully held on 1 April 2019. The Ceremony, organized by Innovation and Technology Commission, HSBC and HK Federation of Youth Groups, was officiated by the Honourable Mrs Carrie Lam, GBM, GBS , Chief Executive, HKSAR Government. The Scholarship aims to provide recognition to outstanding undergraduates from local universities as well as opportunities of widening their exposure and encouraging them to pursue science and technology as a lifelong career. This year, a total of 4 outstanding students (2 from Science School, 1 from School of Engineering and 1 from Interdiscipline Office) have been selected by the Awardee Selection Committee. In addition to the scholarship certificate, they will each be awarded with a scholarship of maximum HK$150,000 to participate in a series of programs including overseas attachment program, mentorship program, service project program and local internship program.
