Optional Hospital & Surgical Benefits Plan

While students may use the FREE GENERAL CONSULTATIONS AND MEDICATIONS OF THE CAMPUS CLINIC, they might need other medical services such as hospitalization in some circumstances. In Hong Kong, there are always long waiting lists in public hospitals, while medical costs in private hospitals are high.  It would be advisable for students to get private medical insurance for extra protection and resources in case the need for prompt, appropriate and affordable medical service arises.

The University has an Optional Hospital & Surgical Benefits Plan for Local Students for registered full-time local students to join on a voluntary basis.
