University's Supported Financial Assistance

University Financial Assistance

Bursaries and Loans

This is a scheme supplementary to the government schemes. Under normal circumstances, the funds available will only be used to assist students who are unable to obtain adequate assistance provided by the government. Owing to limited resources, the amount offered will only be sufficient for part of the expenses.

To avoid financial difficulties, you are encouraged to plan ahead and to budget your income and expenses required for the academic year.

Bursary and/or non-interest loan would be offered to successful applicants upon completion of the means-tested review. The amount of assistance would depend on the individual’s family financial condition. Successful applicants will be notified of the results about 2 months after the closing of the application period.

If you want to have a preliminary assessment whether you would be granted with financial assistance on the application of the university financial assistance, you may click into the financial calculator.
